Graduation was a day to remember.
Sirius would never forget James's closing speech. Or how Remus later pulled him behind a statue, where they kissed feverishly, almost desperately. They were late for the feast.
James noticed. Sirius played innocent. Under the table, he reached for Remus's hand. He felt Remus's slender fingers entwine with his own. James just grinned, and shook his head.
Wordlessly, Sirius raised his glass.
To their dreams.
Remus and James did the same. Sirius gazed at them for a long moment; then he solemnly nodded once, and touched the glass to his lips.
To their future.
